Hi community,
two weeks ago i found freetrack.
And since one and a half week i am trying to get my 3 points cap perfectly working. my problem is actually translation during rotation. If I move my head to left or right the 3D-Preview shows that my head has moved far backwards. How do i get rid of that?
Sorry for bad English, i live in Germany.

Thanks for your reply man!
I measured my model again and very precise.
The effect has become smaller.
But the effect is still there.

On a Profile Tab look at the Map boxes in Settings frame.
Check the settings there:
Yaw shoud read Yaw
Pitch should read Pitch
Roll shoulb be Roll
X -> X
Y->Y
Z->Z

These settings define your translations

All my settings are nominal.
The Mapping-Settings included.
I found a fault in my model which made also a bit of the effect: one of the lower leds were further away from the Reference point than the other. Just a few Mimmimeters, but after killing the mm's it works better. Now it is almost perfect.
Using small deadzone the effect is eliminated. Thanks for the replys!

If you play with the model position sliders for a while you can reduce it quite a bit.

I was playing with them very long. I was able to reduce it quite a bit as you said, but it was still there. My problem was my unprecise model.

If you see the front of my model, it saw a bit like that. The one lower led wasn't as far away from the upper as the other. The result is unwanted Z axis translation during rotation to left and right. If i move my head to the left, the lower leds are very close on the screen. The result is that the skull of the Preview goes backwards. By looking th the right, the skull comes more in front.
