I use this kind of system ... an answer from tristan68 (in french), about this : http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=1294 you must use resistance (R) with good valu ... You can't use IR led without R - One R by Led - If you want to test quickly, without R, try to Use Leds (no IR) from PC case box with 2 AAA (but after some hours, leds will be broken because of too many intensity (I) ...) I'd definately go for two batts though. http://www.free-track.net/english/hardware/calcled/index.php I use two AAAs with IR LEDs and it works well and is very light. I get about 20 hours out of each set of two. Is there any particular reason you want to use a single AA?
