I ve got my Setup working perfect (3 Point) and it works great in Falcon Allied Force, LOMAC and FS2004, but it seems that alot of the time I try to use it in IL2 FB the windows box pops up infront of my view and says that freetrack has encountered an error and needs to quit. When i Alt - Tab from the game to restart my whole pc monitor messes up and goes all blocky and split in two.. The only way to fix this is to reboot... Is there a solution for this?

Thanks

I have exactly the same problem. Strangely enough the crashes always happen when i look "over the shoulder" or pan around in the external view.
I changed to MMX in .ini, but it didn't help. I've also tried different cam resolutions, also no effect.

Seems that i have found a solution. I changed the compression from I420 to RGB24 and have had no crashes since.

Normally RGB24 causes more problems than I420.

i've now used rgb24 setting for a couple of days. Still get an occasional crash but a lot less. All crashes occur when panning quickly in external view. As long as i stay in the cockpit, everything is fine :D

Could it have something to do with the widescreen monitor?
