Hi everyone....

i just downloaded FreeTrack and i was wondering if i could use a one-point configuration to control head translation (just the X axis for now, to keep things simple)

i have a triple monitor setup here, so head rotation doesn't interest me much, but i really wanted to be able to shift left and right in my seat and have my viewpoint change accordingly

since with one-point, the software is simply tracking on the X and Y axes, it seems simple to have it affect translation instead of rotation (rotation would, of course, be ignored)

but there is no straightforward option for doing this in the software... so i ask: is it possible?

read up on this thread, it should be easy enough for you to modify the script to you needs.
