Since a couple of day's I'm working with Freetrack. A great program! But I have a problem. I have a Framrate in FreeTrack of 24 and a jitter of 20. I've already tried the settings that are given in the FAQ but it seems not to work. Without Freetrack in fs I have about 25 frames (locked). But with Freetrack I only get about 9-11.

Does anybody knows what I can do about it?

Egbert

( btw: I have a Logitech quickcam)

You're kinda getin me confused with your FPS's,
So
When you have FreeTrack open, it shows a FPS of 24 and a jitter of 20,

Without Freetrack, in FS you pull off 25, and With, you get around 10?

Is freetrack minimized when you play, if it's open, it needs to render the video which kills everything.

Otherwise, I dunno what to do, hardware upgrade?

HI

I use this thread because I got the same Issue.

I use a Microsoft VX-3000, removed IR-Filter + Light Filter

My Setup worked really nice, but I switched my system to a new one.
Now I run a Q6600 with 4GB Ram. I decided to use a WinXP64 instead of the new vista. Maybe a mistake, because my Frame rate is actually really low.

With the old system (singel Core 3,0 Ghz 2 GB ram) I had 30 FPS.
With the new setup my FPS drop to 15-17. Jitter is OK

I tried to swithc the USB ports (no result)
deinstalled the Factory software of the cam  (no result)
tried to handel it with the threshold slider (no result)

The reason for this is the X64 OS. I found a fix for this problem, but this should only work for Vista.

Has some one a solution for WinXP64??????
Hope you guys can support me

Found a solution for the problem.
I am back on 30 FPS with winXP 64bit.
Reason: The treiber is not compatible with OS64bit.

Try to do this:
- Do a right mouse klick on the Icon of your VX3000
- run properties
- go to compatibility and run the prog with winXP Mode

After I have set this, freetrack runs the Vx3000 software as recomendet.

For all Vista Users:
Maybe you try to run Freetrack in the compatibility Mode ass well.
i try this with my OS (WinXP64bit). Feedback after longtime run!
