I built a little 3 point hat and it works great with the Free Track software. I made a video of how to put it together for my friends that I do virtual racing with so they could see how to do it. Also made a little music video......hope you enjoy them, and THANKS! Great program!

Absolutely incredible work on the videos!! The second one should be the 'official' trailer for Free Track!

I am sure the first one will be a great resource for anyone attempting a build.

Nice job!

Awesome contribution viper3two! A great tutorial and impressive promotional video.   B)

I noticed the SFH485P LEDs in your video were labelled as 2V but the specs state 1.5V  (1.8V max). A resistor is needed because 3 leds *1.5V = 4.5V < 6V source voltage so the resistor is important to drop the source voltage by 6 - 4.5 = 1.5V (1.5V / 0.1Amps = 15 Ohm resistor).

Once again, great videos!  :)

Thanks for the comments, I feel that I owe you guys a little something for making that program that works so well! I think I am going to do another video probably sometime soon....I think it works well with music and panning the views ect...its fun to do!
And -yes- you are absolutely correct on the resistor, I didn't even notice that until I got it done that I did state 2v, they are actually 1.5v....but I do have the resistor in place to knock down the voltage and it is working perfect...
I will see if I can get that edited soon........

Thanks again for the comments and thanks for Free Track! Its awesome!

One thought on the music video... Besides a great choice of Nickelback.

Either here or at the YouTube site, could you possibly list in order which sim programs appear in the video?

Thanks and I can't wait for the next production!   :glasses:

Nice videos. I really enjoyed them both. What games did you use for the music video please?
Cheers,

Hey all
Thanks for the comments! Man that was fun and looking forward to doing more with FreeTrack.....
Wow...for the sims, I have a BUNCH on my pc, practically every flight or driving sim they make......
as for the video, the very first one where I am moving my head is IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, with the 6DOF patch available at? I think I just googled the IL-2 6DOF patch and there is some sim site that these guys made the patch for...hey I found it, it is :
http://www.allaircraftarcade.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1006
NOW, please read the entire thread about this before you go and apply it, and back up your IL2 folder!
The next one up is....good ol Falcon 4 with the Open Falcon mod applied, it is at http://globalfalcon.org/vb/forums/ or just simply globalfalcon.org I think will get ya there......
after that it is IL2 again with the guns going.......
Then IL2 again! with me dropping off the wing of the bomber over the ocean...
(you would think I like IL2? lol)
The red bull plane is in Flight Sim X.....awesome lil stunt plane!
After the spin away......
The first driving sim is RFactor, with the PCC mod applied......
Then its GTR in a similar porsche.....
Then back to RFactor in the stock car mod that comes with it in version 1255...
Then RFactor again in the open wheel mod that comes with it in version 1255...
Me cruising past the garages in that open wheel mod....
Then back in the PCC Porsche mod.....
for several frames driving down the straights....
Then back in the open wheels in RFactor.....
And back to the PCC mod in RFactor with me getting close to the cars....
And for the wrap up it is the OCC dirt truck mod for RFactor along with the open wheel mod and the PCC mod.......and the supported games scrolling by with me pretending to drive lol........

Hope that answers it.....:-)

Hello Remy!
Thank you for the comments and yes, you can use the video wherever you want to...feel free, I did it for you guys....I really love FreeTrack! I use it on all of my sims and I have been telling everybody I know about it. In the future I will probably do another music video with FreeTrack...I think it did well with the action and the music together.
