Hi,

I have built a 3 LED clip using a CATEYE bike light as described by urze! I have also got a MS VX1000 web cam, however I'm having real problems getting it to work correctly with FreeTrack 2.1

I currently have my camera set up as follows...

B/W Mode

Brightness 0
Contrast 1.0
Gamma 1.0
Hue -3
Saturation 0
Sharpness 4.0

I have the Stream set to I420 @320x200

The problem is when I start the camera I can see the 3 leds but the screen is flashing constantly and the movement doesn't map to the skull at all.

Can someone who also has the VX1000 please tell me how they have their camera set up.

Can't remember where or what the option was but you need to adjust your cam to outdoors

Another thing was B/W mode. At least in my case, it made all the problems even worse

Yes, set it to outdoors, and don't use black and white mode.
