how do you test the LED's.  I may have burnt mine out.  Don't know if it's the resistor or the LED's.  Used my electrical tester and got a beep, so I'm guessing they are okay.  I"m using a 47K ohm, 1/4 watt, 5% resister with a 6 volt DC power adapter.  Anyone got an answer for me

Also if the resister calculator says you need a 43 ohm resister and all I have on had is a 47 ohm one, can I get by with that and still use 6 volts DC?

il n' y a aucun problème à utiliser une résistance plus élevée , la tension sera juste un peu inférieur à celle désiré mais ne devrait pas gêner le fonctionnement

----------------------------

There is no problem to use a higher resistance, the voltage is just slightly lower than desired but should not interfere with the operation .
