Getting an application error on my WIN 7 64 bit rig.  Any ideas?  I install and try to run and get this immediately.

Here is a link to the screen cap.  LINK

Hi,
You need to right click on the freetrack desktop icon and select run as administrator. It's a bit of a pain but you must do this each time you run freetrack.

I too have a similar problem. I've just downloaded and installed the latest version of free track and when I try to run it as administrator on my 64 bit Windows 7 machine I get an error

Exception EAccessViolation in module FreeTrack.exe at 00019779
Accessviolation at address 00419779 in module 'FreeTrack.exe'.
Read of address 40239CA6

The FreeTrack process then continues to run and puills 100% cpu power until I terminate via task manager.

Any ideas?

Strange! the above method works for me with Win 7 64bit. Try turning off the user account control, it's a pain anyway.

Go into   "control panel"/ "user accounts"  to make the adjustment.

Even with the UAC disabled, which in my opinion isn't a good idea, I still get the same problem.

Could it be anything to do with needing exclusive use of the webcam? I have other bits of software that run in the background that often use the webcam although I don't think they were when I tried to use Freetrack.
