Hello!

I tried my Trust WB-1200p Webcam (10€) with freetrack under vista 64 bit bussines and get an error:  : (

Access violation at address 004B2EE7 in module "FreeTrack.exe". Read of address 00000000.

(I think you try to read/write a NULL pointer)

Does anyone else has some experience with freetrack and vista 64bit? Can someone give me a good hint for a webcam working with vista 64bit?

Thanks

Marc

You need to run Freetrack in 32 bit compatibility mode to get it running in 64 bit Vista.

I know this.
I have to choose windows xp (sp2) mode to start FreeTrack.

The error occurs in this mode...  : (

I played a little bit with the cam.

The software that is with the cam works with vista 64.
The cam is also installed as "SoC PC-Camera" and shows a stream at about 30fps in "VideoImpression 1.6"

The cam seems to work with vista 64, so I think  Freetrack is the problem.

And you're running Freetrack in Administrator mode?

I think it's because Freetrack tries to register a DirectShow filter to the registry and by default, Vista won't allow it for security reasons.
