That's the point, they are filed down.
EDIT: Steph, I have some trouble interpreting the LED's fixed relation between Vf and If. Hence I can't quite follow how you come up with 6.8Ohms. If I would aim for Vf 1.5, the graph in the datasheet says the according If is 130mA. But 1.5V and 130mA require 3.85Ohms, not 6.8Ohms. Please let me know since I don't feel like blowing up my LEDs and starting all over again. Thanks!

Do you got a multimeter?
Measure current and voltage of your present mount, so we will get fixed if it was a problem of LED insensitivity or if we have to look for better cam settings and filter solution. (If you are not sure how to measure, just ask.)

Ive got an old digital multimeter with all kinds of settings, like "Ohms K", "V dc", "V ac" and whatnot on a horizontal switch and 2mA, 20mA and stuff like that on a vertical switch. I've got no clue how tp measure...
Oh and it his two outputs to connect measuring pins to. One output has a lightning flash icon and the other has some numerical values next to it. The measuring pins come in a red one and a black one. Hope you can guide me through it... Could you also tell me first how to verify if the multimeter is working correctly? Because one measuring pin is full of white/green-ish stuff.. Like it was dipped in something. Doesn't look well so I would like to rule out faulty measurements.

Do you got a picture (or reference) of it so I can see what it looks like?

not right now but like i said, it had a vertical selector with
20 mA 200 mA 2 A 20 A and a horizontal selector with Amperes Ohms V dc V ac If you need to know very specific icons and markings I would have to wait till tonight to make a picture of it. And it has two connectors for the measuring pins. I assume the red pin to the lightning flash connector and the black pin to the other.

what kind of brand is your multimeter?Maybe we find some picture on the internet.
V-Dc= voltage direct current V-Ac = voltage alternating current Did you ever use a multimeter yourself? |

I assume the LED set up has to be plugged in the power for that?
EDIT: Well, I assumed I had to plug it in so I did. I connected the multimeter's pins as you posted in the picture and it gave 97 / 98 mA with a 6,8Ohms resistor as you told me as well. Going to wrap it up and connect the last two ends right now to see if it works.
