Hello,
I am currently copying what yoy have done with a cateye light. Ive got the exact same one. Im planning on using IR LED's instead though. The problem is I have no clue of electronics. Can you tell me what voltage amp LED's to get please?

You better check it with a multimeter. Or ask somebody who has this cateye. Anyway as I know it uses 2 x 1,5V batteryes so if the curcuit is running on 3V then the leds getting equal or less. Probably less.

You are right!
I changed the dimensions of it. Now the tracking is as accurate as a TrackIR 4 from Naturalpoint :

When your doing the dimensions how do you messure it? Ive not really found anything showing me how. Also what type of messurement are you using? The 70, 65, 90, 80 is messing me up

In this pic, I can see the dimensions setted to 7 for the short arm and 80 for the long, but this numbers seems not reflect what I see in the image

Hi Urze, can you say me something about the difference between the photo and the dimension setted in the FT panel?
As I can see in the pic, the longest arm is not so much different from the smaller.

Urze - quick question...
Building my device this week (already have the Cateye). Did you have to modify your webcam? Or did you just use settings to get what you needed??
I would rather not, so it can still be used for Skype, etc, but I'll get another camera if needed.
Also, any advantage to going to UR LED's?
