Scubaduba, at age 42, I had not really touched math since high school. I do Computer aided design for a living, and have let the computer do all my math for me, so time has allowed those skills to fade.
Back in my school days math was easy, and I had actually attended a college algebra course in 9th grade, to allow me to skip ahead a bit. But, the college course, and my high school math program didn't really match up, so some things were omitted that I didn't realize at the time. This set me back from being able to progress on my own after I graduated.
The best thing I've done in a long time was to take a college-level math course. I really enjoyed it.
