I may have accidentally found a solution
You get the error message like "Exception EAccessViolation in module FreeTrack.exe at 00019779. Access violation at address 00419779 in module 'FreeTrack.exe'. Read of address 40239CA6" and FT2.2 won't start.
Go to "Control panel" --> "Appearance and personalization" --> "Display"
If you choose anything other than the default 100% size (the one on the top), you will get the error message.
The solution is to Choose the default 100% size.
This works for me, but may or may not work for everyone.
