I just found out how to get this to work with freetrack.
DO IN THIS ORDER!
just in case run everything as administrator
First download Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider at
http://www.ngohq.com/home.php?page=dseo
Then download the new PPJoy at
http://ppjoy.blogspot.com/2009/11/finally-new-version.html
Run the overrider and select enable test mode
Restart your computer and it should say test mode at the corners of the screen
Run the ppjoy setup and when asked allow driver installation
Set up a joystick configuration as you would with older versions and run freetrack
Done. Im pretty sure it only works as long as your computer is in test mode but as far as I know there is no difference when running your computer like this.
*This may work in windows seven since they are very similar
