I can't get fsx to work with freetrack. i ticked the "simconnect" box, but when i run fsx, nothing happpens.

Try making a new profile just for FSX and make sure you start freetrack before running the fsx.exe.

It works great for me under XP or Vista.

Hi Stephane,

It definitely should work. What version of FSX and Freetrack are you using? You should know that the demo version of FSX does not support simconnect (I found that out the "hard" way myself  :unsure: )

No it's not the demo.
simconnect.dll is ok, im using it with other addons to.
Could that be the problem?

Same here... My FSX Deluxe (with Acceleration Expansion Pack) seems to not responding to FT  :(

So far have no idea what to do/check...

I think I solved the problem.... anyway FT is working fine now in FSX  ;)

There were both FreeTrack and TrackIR interfaces enabled. Try settings as shown on my FT screens below - hopefully it will work for u as well:
