Hello, fighter community.

First want to say "hello" on all in this forum.

Need help and hope someone of you can give me some answers or advice.

A few days before l cam on this page and find this project realy great and big thx for developers of this software, ideas and forum. but after few hours of surfing in web, still have problem to find a right one.

OK. have Wii and will use one of my controllers with FSX and this great  ;) Freetrack software.

Question 1. when l use only one ir-led-> only X and Y aches - and with 3 point (cap) can use all X,Y,Z - yaw & roll. Right?

Question 2. My biggest problem is to find a right USB Bluetooth Dongle (one of newest models on market, today) who work with Wiimote and support Bluesoleil. I just read many manuals of few new dongles, but still don't know which one is OK,  and some of suggested are no more available on market.

Cann someone suggest me a one or more usable actual dongels (Vendor + Model) who works with Wiimote and Freetrack 2.2 without many problems.
(shell be also not to expensive, ;)

this will be great, ok and TIA.

(INFO)
Win XP + SP3
FSX Deluxe + Acceleration (SP2)
Saitek X45 + Saitek Dash2

A 1 point system will give you the ability to look left, right, up & down in the game. I have a 1 point system.

I can suggest this dongle KENSINGTON 33348 Bluetooth USB 2.0 Adapter ( $20 from Amazon) BUT I DON'T USE BLUESOLIE, I just used the software that came with it. So I don't know if it is compatitable w/ that software stack or not.

Someone might help you here, but I trolled all the websites that deal strictly with connecting the Wii to the PC.

Hope that helps :).

thx mbmonk,

-cool, this is that what l want to know. ;)

-in your case work your wiimote with this dongle on 1 point system.

-which OS you use XP or Vista?

BLUESOLEIL is not so important when wiimote work with xp and freetrack on original dongle software.
In some forum say many, that dongle shell use bluesoleil software to work correctly with freetrack and xp.

but maybe have some, some experience with, and give me some infos more. ;)

I am running windows XP. I am not sure if I am running Service Pack 2 or 3. I assume SP3.

I just installed the drivers from the CD that came with the Bluetooth dongle, and it worked. Wiimote connected up first time, and everything ran pretty smooth.

You should download the FreeTrack software because it has the latest help files/manual. The manual available on the website is 2.1; while the manual packaged with the actual FreeTrack software is 2.2.

In the 2.2 version of the manual there is much more information about getting the Wiimote connected to FreeTrack. Even a tutorial on how to do it I believe. So it's worth looking at FOR SURE.

Did I answer all your questions?

Good luck :)
