I've just found that this is available, and *relatively* cheap, considering what they're marketing it as (I'm a cynic, I expect companies to charge a phenomenal amount for this type of new technology, or appication of old technology in this way. Look at Nvidia and their 3D glasses and monitor tech...).
Anyway, I would've thought that if this does provide a nice 30fps of any resolution, the abaility to interpolate two images, and having the cameras at a fixed distance apart would give a much better result than our standard setups, in terms of accuracy, ease of configuration and setup.
What are everyone's ideas on this? I know it'd be a very involved process to implement support for this rather "individual" webcam, but the way I see it it would be well worth it for the result.
