Hello everybody,
i built my own 3Point cap today, using a modified Microsoft VX1000 withour IR-Filter and with an negative Film instead of the IR-filter. For the 3Point Cap i used the distances from the hardwarefaq. All Ir-LEDs are correctly shown in Freetrack, but the Skull isnt moving correctly. It is standing upside down and some other wrong directions. I tried to use the constellation with Future Pinball and GT Legends, but it isnt working correctly. If i set Freetrack to Onepoint Model using a Remotecontrol, the skull is moving correctly to the left right, up and down. Additional i have the problem that Freetrack 2.2 Is even producing an error when i start it, after accepting the error the Programm is running but no camera is shown. Freetrack 2.1 is running without this error. What is my failure? I hope u can help me. Sry my bad english, my german is mutch better regards from germany germantracer

Now, the 3point cap is working great. Just switched through the config and so... its working.
The error from 2.2 is still present. Another question, is it better to have a bigger distance between the IR-LEDs or ar the distances from the hardwarefaq the best? |

There are not much different, the distance shouldn't be smaller than the ones in the FAQ though.
What error do you get with 2.2 ? Rémy |

Hi didja,
thx for your response. On the 2.2 I have got the following error message when i tried to start the program. Then, after a time while i a was using 2.1, 2.1 gave the same error when i tried to start it. Both Programms were running after this error, but they found no cam. The Page which normaly shows the cam stays empty. As i tried to shut the program down, both... 2.1 and 2.2, they gave me the following error. After hat, i deinstalled both Versions. They were installed in different Folders. now i am running V2.1 without any problems so far. But i dont know if i should retry v2.2..... |

Maybe you shouldn't... 2.2 is quite sensitive with Windows little problems so it's a common erro that hasn't been solved yet.
Sorry... Rémy |

Hallo Germantracer,
versuchs ruhig nochmal. Viel Glück for english spoken: first uninstall, then Install FT 2.2 then in other Folder 2.1 Install of DX9.0c (november) nessesary /Eisenfpferd/ |

If you used/install more than one version of freetrack don't forget to register OCX, AX Filters :

Hello, thanx for your answers. My Freetrack is working now really great. Ive uninstalled both Versions and installed the v2.1 after that. This is running great now. Additionally ive installed the IR-LEDS at my headset.
