I can't seem to get Falcon running with Free Track I have setup the config chose T-IR Output in free track and setup Tir ingame and still nothing can anyone help me here?

Make sure you enable 6dof in your falcon folder.  Micropose-Falcon4-art-ckptart-
Open a cockpit folder (i.e. f16c-52) and open 3dckpt.dat using notepad.  At the very bottom you should see 6dof_ready 0.  Change the 0 to 1 and save.  You have to do this for all cockpit folders.

That was already in the .ini file.. Everytime I close falcon also my free track settings are messed up and I see myself in black and white not my 3 led lights??? Please help I relly wanna get falcon up and running thanks!

Falcon OF is working fine, but AF and RV are trying to change the stream or something. Getting the white bulbs and need to stop/start before I can get it to work again. This happens during loading somehow. Only way I get it to work is to STOP FreeTrack, start the game and use Shift-F9 to start it when in 3D (only works first time though, sice you can't stop FreeTrack, only pause).  Otherwise I have to try to stop then start it manually with alt-tab ... which isn't that easy 'cause most of the game stays ontop of my desktop.

Well I tried that trick of trying to stop and start it once I was in 3d and its still not working... This is really strange because Free track seems to be working fine with all my other sims. Anymore Ideas anyone?

In the Stream option, change the Color Space/Compression from RGB 24 to l420.  That should fix that problem.

No problem.  Glad to have help.  Let me know how it runs.  I had 2.2 installed, but had trouble with the clickable cockpit, so went back to  2.1.2.  All of the buttons were off.  Let me know if you have the same problem.

Thanks from me too ... got really tired of trying to find and re-start FreeTrack from the launchbar. Seems it has better view too/less noise ...

Afaik the cockpit being clickable or not has more to do with what cockpit you have and not with what version of FreeTrack you're running.
Anywayz, I've got all the versions of falcon installed anywayz and just rename the directory of the one I want to play back to falcon4.

I mostly use F-16C Block 52.  In FT 2.1.2 I had no trouble in the 3d cockpit as far as all the clickable buttons being where they are suppose to be.  When I installed FT 2.2, all the buttons were off.  I had to move the mouse around until the pointer turned green and pray that it was the function I was looking for.  When I switched back to 2.1.2, everything was back to normal.  Maybe I'll give it one more try with the new update.

Hey all.
I'm having the same problem with falcon too. Unfortunatly, in the stream colormode settings I only have YUY2.
What should I do. All other sims work perfectly fine with FT.

Euhm... do you have a HOTAS (might be with joystick too)? I think it was a known "issue" that free-track/track-ir doesn't work without a HOTAS...don't ask me why :P

Check F4AF fora is my suggestion ... or use babelfish.altavista.com to get the french translation of the other topic in engrish.

I connected my HOTAS Cougar and suddenly FT works perfectly fine with OF! Amazing!
