I'm here again!

I plugged in my 3 LED cap and began flying Open Falcon which works perfectly with Free Track. When I tried to fly Allied Force, it first didn't recognize any TrackIR-like device and it simply would not register with the 3d pit in Allied Force. What must I do for free track to be used for Allied Force (What are the complete steps and procedures?)

Same problem with AF.
I also tried FF5 and it didn't work.
I saw somewhere that when the game starts u need to alt tab and restart freetrack.
Problem is, im using vista and i can't alt tab, so if anyone have a solution to this problem i would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

btw it works perfect in IL2.

For FreeFalcon5, try adding the -nomovie switch to your command line.

I don't think FreeTrack likes the 640x280 intro.

No that's not the problem, problem is freetrack 2.2.
I tried 2.1 and it works perfect  ;)

Is someone going to fix this problem or is this going to be a standard issue for Falcon AF.

It seems to depend on a few factors, video card drivers seem to be one of them.

I had it working perfectly, but had some graphical anamolies in the game, so i updated the drivers, forgot to test it, then had to do some other stuff, and before i got round to testing it I had also installed Freefalcon5.3, at which point it was not working.

By not working, i mean that freetrack was working fine before the game started, but was not updating in the game, and usually had crashed once i exited the game.

For me the camera stream MUST be in I420 mode for it to work, in RGB24 mode it just refuses to work. I suggest trying that as the first step.

I currently have it working again (I changed so much stuff i'm not sure exactly what settings i changed to get it working again).

These details might help you track down your problems if you have an ATI card.

Vid Card: HIS HD4830 IceQ
Camera settings are I420 mode, 320 x 240, cheap no-name webcamera that identifies as a "Sonix USB video Device V001"
Driver Details:
Catalyst™ Version    9.2
Direct3D Version    6.14.10.0643
OpenGL Version    6.14.10.8494
Catalyst™ Control Center Version    2009.0203.2228.40314

All settings in the catalyst control center are set to max quality settings (hard right on all sliders), and use application setting turned off for everything.
8x AA with wide-tent filtering (says 16 x sampling)
Adaptive AA is NOT enabled
OpenGL triple buffering is enabled

Hopefully that helps somebody.
