It was a quick shot, because i was very curious and eager as i never used a headtracker before.
The next one will look nicer.

hello
After many hours  reading forums and other sources,  finally  I managed a system that works quickly and efficiently in my flight simulator.

The point is done by hand with alluminium tube and wod box glued with cyanocrilate.  The diodes are cut and polished to increase the field view and are connected in parallel with 7ohms resistance and connect to usb

The camera is a PS3eye with handmade plywood support. The IR filter was removed and with a screen made with a cutting old Iomega disk

It works perfectly with a resolution of 640x480 and a refresh rate of 75fps and 0 jitter

New power source for my pcb freetrack with lm317 as a constant current source. It's a 5V battery charger for Sagem mobile phone. It has 9V when not connected and 7,7V with connected freetrack device (50mA). It's small and works well.

I think it affects the number of axis.
As I understand, 1 point tracking tracks pitch and roll (looking up/down and left/right, where 3 point tracking tracks 6 axis. Same as 1 point tracking + moving sideways, up/down, back/forth and roll.

This is because the cam can calculate exact head position by the distance between, and the position of the points
