Class : Apprenti Posts : 3 Registered on : 13/04/2013 Off line	Here's my 3-point hat construction: It attaches with two clips on the hat (so it doesn't modify or damage the hat) and the red leds can be easily removed from the metal frame by removing the three screws.

I didn't have to modify my VX-800 to remove the IR filter, i just put a piece of developed film in a slide frame and attached it in front of my camera. (the resistors are in the vertical tube hidden from view) Edited by GeoMan on 18/04/2013 at 14h07.

Class : Apprenti Posts : 3 Registered on : 13/04/2013 Off line	I am now powering the leds using an AC/DC adaptor to save on batteries! While the batteries provide 6V i drive them from the adaptor at 4.5V. It helps the leds stay completely cool without any brightness loss.
