Hello, i purchase the BS2, but i have ever the same problem with the compatible DCS softwares. With the A-10 i needed a lot hours to resolve.

My system Win 7 x64, and the BS2 have installed in system 64, not in x86.

have some "projetc" TO bs2?

Until there is a 64bit freetrack release, I can only see this kind of problem becoming worse over time.   :(

I know what you're going though.  It took a LONG time to get freetrack working in A-10 using ppjoy.  I do not look forward to setting it up in BS2.

So? I'm about to buy BS2. My system is W7 64bit, too.
It means that FreeTrack will not work with BS2 for now?

"BS2 and FT on 64-bit system" issue was confusing me. But now I'm happy about that it works.

Because I will buy BS2, too.

Thanks.

It doesn´t work for me...

What Kestrel says, seems to work only on a-10...

but what about BS2?

there is no Folder called headtracker, or something like that...

would you please make a simple step-by-step-explanation for non-pros like me ;-)

this would be very kind... thanks in advance

Christian

Hi Mop.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me, either.

I'm still trying to operate. I'll back if I can take result.

Hi Mop.

Go to link (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=75917) that Kestrel has already mentioned. And download the zip file attached in the 1st message.

Actually, zip file's text tells everything.

1) Copy the "headtracker" folder into "bin" folder of BS2.

2) Copy the "freetrack_shared_mem.exe" into FreeTrack program folder.

3) Paste a shortcut of "freetrack_shared_mem.exe" to desktop.

4) Right click on sortcut and enter Properties.

5) Type 60 number at the end of "C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeTrack\freetrack_shared_mem.exe" line.

So, It will be exactly
"C:\Program Files (x86)\FreeTrack\freetrack_shared_mem.exe" 60

6) Click this shortcut. It starts the FT. Make sure that, in the Options page, "FreeTrack interface", "TrackIR interface" and "FSUIPC - FS2004/FS2002" must be checked.

Actually I did same things before. At that time it didn't work. But today, it's OK.

I hope this time, it works for you too!
