ArmA has been extensively tested by myself and others, check your settings:

Make sure your webcam frame rate is high (preferably 30fps).
High fps can be achieved by lowering webcam exposure.

Set the 'Global' -> 'Interpolation' -> 'Average webcam fps' to equal your actual webcam fps.

If your webcam has an anti-flicker option, make sure it is disabled (or equivalently, enable 'Outdoors mode').

Features the DC3 that comes with the Arma Expansion pack. I used a 4 point cap and MS VX 1000 cam.

I should add at this point that the PC in question is a Core2Duo 6600 with 2 gig of RAM and an 8800 GTX so others may not get results quite as good. :)

for me head tracking as an infantry in ArmA is an acquired taste  :D it needs a little of getting used to, but once you get used to it then it'll be a verry immersive experience.  B)

with 6DoF(3~4 point cap/clip)
you could lean by leaning!!! slicing the pie like nobody's business etc, and like real life you could point your gun at one direction and scan the horizon without moving your aim.

but of course using head tracking whilst flying is almost a must, if not just for the greater sense of awareness alone. I hope you could sort your tracking problem soon, because it's truly a great joy using freetrack with ArmA, good lock!

Hi! I already posted that this cam is not recommended. May tell Didja to refresh the compatibility list.
