Oh wow, I'm kicking myself right now. That was exactly my problem - I never checked it with the webcam and just assumed I'd see a tiny bit of light with my own eyes.

Thank you for the help, and I'm glad to see that I actually did get it right, it was just a dumb oversight on my part. I recommend this guide to anyone new as it actually works like a charm.

And hey, now I have two freetrack setups   :lol:

Im happy to see this thread got some use.  I spent a-lot of time doing this.  I think the best way to go though in hindsight was the wii remote... Dont think I will be doing this again.
