Hi,

I've got a Wiimote here and connected it via USB Dongle.

When I now open Freetreack, I can choose between a demo video and the wiimote. But when I selct the latter, nothings happens.

Do you have any idea what my problem is?  Do I need any other software?

How can I test, if the wiimote works correctly?

Have you read other topics about WiiMote?

read this topic on this forum: click here

ext link: wiimote an bluetooth how to connect/setup connection
this procedure in just one mouseclick: click here

If WiiMote is connected, you need an IR-led set/cap .....
Have you press start in Free-Track?

IR Cap is ready.

Now i've got Blue Soleil here. Version 6.4.xxxxx

This
http://www.wiiprojects.org/bluetooth.html

does not work.

Bluesoleil finds Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 rather quickly.

But  I can't connct connect to Bluetoth Human Interface Device.
I press the buttons, thew LEDs flash, but Bluesoleil says that it was not succesfull.
"Vorgang nicht erfolgreich. Bitte erneut versuchen"

edit:
or should i try some older version of bluesoleil?

Forget the procedure / I found out that manually connecting to bluesoleil often give problems

find out your mac adress = 12 digit code in lower left corner of this screen in BlueSoleil

and use this quick connect I described in this topic http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=1570

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

I already tried that method, but in the bluesoleil folder is no such file as
gprs.exe.

Any other Idea?

It's the program that starts bluesoleil, so check your startmenu ... en look for properties how you start Bluesoleil.....

there is a difference for windows XP Vista 32 and  Vista 64 for your program files folder ...

That isn't working either. I tried every exe file in the damn folder.

The Dos window opens, but then nothing happens. after about 30sek the wiimote stops flashing.

I've got windows 32bit.

Wich version of BS do you use?

Maybe i should try an older version?

My version is : 6.05.85.20070815

it is an old version which came with MSI dongle / when i try to update my reg. version becomes a demo

1. Are you sure you used your own 12-digit Mac Adress?
2. check your bluetooth compatability here : http://www.wiili.org/index.php/Compatible_Bluetooth_Devices

It looks this way:
"C:\Programme\IVT Corporation\BlueSoleil\BlueSoleil.exe" "00:1E:A9:70:A7:5A" 4388

My dongle is not on the list. It's an Acer BT500, Bluetooth 1.1. The BT700 is listed there, not the BT500.

What do incompatible dongles normally do? I mean, the wiimote is found!
I just can't connect...

I use gprs.exe ..... alltough i have also BlueSoleil.exe ... I tried for you the .cmd with this BlueSoleil.exe but it did not work well. BleuSoleil sees it but it is not fully connected (it's white). I don't know why you don't have the gprs.exe in your directory. When  I close and use my .cmd with gprs.exe it works in 3 sec. When I look it is green en connected to the middle ball with a moving red dot. als the mouse-icon should be green.

benmeijer,

Now i've got 2.3 here, and it works just as you described. Thank you  :)

Connection established and Wiimote constantly flashing.

But when I start freetrack, i can only choose "demo video".

Any Idea how to get a picture vom the wii cam into freetrack?

Dear Fellow,

I think that FreeTrack does not recognize Wiimote as a webcam when running in a old version of BS. I tried run Wiimote at Freetrack 2.1 and I had the same related problem below.

Now I´m using BS 6.2.227 and Freetrack 2.2 an I´m having the follow problem:

I chose a three-point clip whith whimote  connected to the FreeTrack that showed me 4 red balls, when should show me 3 green balls in a signal of activity.

I can see the 3 IR leds moving at the screen, but the freetrack does not work.

I did it under a 64-bit Vista and a 32-bit XP OS.

I don´t know if it is a hardware or a software problem and I need some help.

Best regards.

Ney Vita
Best regards from Brazil!
