Strange things are going on here ...   :pinch:

In the new Version FSX does´t run... OK, shit happens sometimes ...

But, instead of going a step backwards and fix the real problem, there are suggestions to use ppjoy instead of simconnect, using a libary out of the TrackIR Software ( is TrackIR nowadays GPL ? ), which are all nonfunctionating ...

Guys, simconnect already worked in the FT2.1, not perfekt, but it worked.

So, why not stay cool, be patient again and let fix the bad softwarecode, instead of making it worse and copying Libarys from Payware-Competitors...

Just my 5 cent ...

I do agree the situation is less than ideal. The best solution is definately to have the sensitivity / FSX output option sorted within the FT software. However I'm not a developer so unfortnately I'm not a great help. I'm willing to test an ideas / solutions people may have though :-)

In FS 2004 all the 6 axis not working, only the old 4 axis. I installed TrackIR 4 software as wrote in manual, copy the TIRViews.dll to the FreeTrack dir, but nothig happened. The previous freetrack software works good for me and I installed this new version only because I would like 6 axis freedom in the FS 2004. I play only with FS 2004.

Please any comment from CHARLIECHEW ? How did you configure freetrack ?

Hi,
As per Didja's instructions, I installed the TIRViews.dll in the Freetrack root directory. Then in Freetrack, under output, make sure that only the TrackIR option is selected (this should automatically grey out the other boxes). Then you should be good to go.
Hope this helps -- good luck!

Sorry you're having trouble.
Could you tell me if the "TIRViews" to the right of the "TrackIR interface" box (under the Output tab) is written in black or grey? It should be black - if it's grey, it would suggest that the TIRViews.dll isn't in the right folder.
I really hope you get it working with FS9--the improvement over v2.1 is unbelievable.

I have black "TIRViews" .
I installed the TIRViews.dll in the Freetrack root directory, and I haven't 6 axis, only 4. I don't understand. I reinstalled freetimes the two softwares.

One more question:
Do you have both the "Free Track interface" and "TrackIR interface" boxes checked? If so, try unchecking the "Free Track interface" box.

I installed Version 4.1.036, located the TIRViews.dll after the install, dragged it over to the Freetrack root folder. I didn't uninstall any TrackIR files.

I used Freetrack's Flight Simulator 2004 profile.
I don't know if this will make a difference, but did you install the version of FSUIPC 3.7.5 module that came with Freetrack 2.2? I don't know if it will help, but it might be worth a try.

if your using tirviews you must tick the trackir interface output checkbox, the fsuipc/simconnect outputs cannot be used in this case
