Just to clarify, with the fixed exe, can I play online MP with my friends? And public? It won't mess things up?

I'm just guessing there isn't a fix for 1.03 yet (browsed through topic fast).

I really have to say, this is sad ... really sad. Tracking should be opensource/direct-X standard imo. BI can say all they want, but they'll still "fail". All that bullcrap about how it will take time away from other stuff? It's allready there: all the limits, reading everything ... so we will need to adjust our sensitivity and smoothing ... yeah, that really is why they shouldn't just "open it up", NOT!!

Imo MS should implement headtracking like joysticks, that way there isn't any ground for not imlementing it. Then again, it seems ArmA2 only recognises 16 buttons ... not that DirectX input implemented it seems.

I'm really dissapointed in BI ... and I'm really gratefull for all (that one?) guys/gails that hack their way into the code and make it possible.

Not really sure, but I think I read it can be used for BlackShark too, which is really great.

Star Trek utopia ftw (read: people helping other people ... just to help (and to get some credit for their work offcourse ;) ) I think the word was: Ubuntu :D

i've noticed more and more "free" head tracking software available over the past year or two. this is my theory on why all of a sudden encrypted API's are being used, untill a mainstream head tracking API is out. right now there are certain companies that think they have exclusive ownership over head tracking. imagine if this happened with keyboards, mice, or joysticks?

Hi

Thanks about this program.

Just to clarify, do this program modify any original ARMA 2 Files?

If so, what files, so I can backup it.

Thanks in advance

PLebre

Edited: Got it.

Hello, I just got FreeTrack working with ArmA 2, but I need to ask you, if this fix modify the original files, and is it possible to trigger the FADE protection by doing so.

Thanks in advance.

About Arma2. There's an official public beta 1.03 patch that was released after standart 1.03. Over a week ago.
This patch has its own exe. And it has no securom (or what was there) in it. The game with this patch runs without a disc. The patch is just a directory in a game directory, that uses the game content.
So, maybe it will help you to fix Free-track with that. Without cracked versions of exe. And it will work in multiplayer. I'm just not into technical details of that..
