Could do actually, but to be honest i'm still not great at the game, i can't take it seriously at the moment as i'm still really anxious at the fact i can't figure out why i no longer have wingman or Sheila cockpit audio, it makes flying a bit difficult without the vital voice alerts. It also makes it a LOT less fun.

I still haven't figured out the centre thing, it seems to be alright now the frame rate has been significantly improved though. Perhaps the low frame rate was causing the defined centre to lose its place.

Dutch webstore ( Dutch: betalen met I-Deal!  :D   )

<click here>

Vanquard,
Good to see all is working now after 2 days with ups and downs, i have also a  few questions:
what material you use as reflective?
how did you construct this material on your cap? Photo please....

Tip for "center TrackIR" if game has no functionkey for it try to use shift-F12, or define other key in Freetrack / controls.

hey ben,

thanks for your reply,

off language;

"knights",

just like I told you in my PM, Gomoto is also using reflective material from a car-safety vest and a Video-Cam with nightshot mode for Freetrack.

Read his post / last part of it:

hi guys
just a quick note to say that I got the same camera as Vanguard and have got it up and running with no mods what so ever straight out the box.

Im using 3m tape from a workmans waistcoat and have it running in 3 and 1 point mode Im still playing with the 3 point settings as its a bit twitchy but have managed to play aces high and lock on so pretty impressed if I can just slow down the responses a bit it will be fine

I found setting the cam to outdoor mode and turning the gamma down gave me a great image

the tape I stuck to a paper clip on the brim of my hat and it seems to work

thanks to Vanguard for all his help

Ah no worries dude!

Man i can't believe how much fun i'm having with Black Shark. I went in expecting a highly detailed sim with a bunch of simple 'go here and shoot this' missions. What i'm getting is an incredibly detailed, highly immersive action game with a dramatic storyline and exciting missions, which are bolstered greatly by the fantastically believable in-game radio dialogue.

My favourite mission so far is the one called "Alert!" i think, it's so thrilling!

All enhanced phenomenally by my head-tracking stuff.

The most fun part though is noticing how i'm getting better and better at flying the Ka-50 the more i play. It really is satisfying. It took ages mind you, but i've really come to grips with it and find it quite easy now.

Vanguard, have you taped off the light sensor or how did you manage to make sure the IR leds are transmitting light all the time ?

and can you select I420 compression, I only see RGB 24 modus.. that the same with you ?
