Class : Apprenti Posts : 4 Registered on : 29/06/2008 Off line Www	Hi! I made a 3 dots clip mounted device and I'm trying to configure FT to work with FSX. (1) If I go to the Output tab in FT, I cannot choose the "Flight Simulator X (SimConnect) option as it is greyed out. So I thought that I need to hit the Activate button in TrackIR Enhanced interface option. (2) When I hit the Activate button I get an window asking me to select the root directory of my app. So I hit the Select button but the next window only allows me to select an application on the C drive but my FSX installation is on another drive. Can you please help me with this problem or direct me to the correct documentation? Thank you! Zoli @ Romania

Class : Apprenti Posts : 3 Registered on : 07/06/2008 Off line	I think you'll have to untick the TrackIR output and then the FSUIPC. This will let you select FSX output.

Class : Webmaster (admin) Posts : 780 Registered on : 13/07/2007 Off line	A better TrackIR Enhanced auto-activation method will be available soon (V2.1.2). FSX uses SimConnect, not TrackIR, so no activation is required. The greyed FSX output option indicates SimConnect/FSX is not correctly installed. Edited by Kestrel on 01/07/2008 at 11h47. Maybe the fsx and simconnect are ok but the software is graying out the option only because it's not able to check for fsx and simconnect on other partitions than c:. I will reinstall fsx with sp2 and let you know the result. I will reinstall it on the same partition I have it now. All the best, Zoli
