Ok, well, as promised, I am now selling Free-Track Kits and assembled devices.

Free-Track 3 Point Clips

Head on over there to purchase,
If I get an order overnight, I'll go to the store tommorow for parts.

Here's the jist on pricing:

$10.00 Base, which includes solid wire core, proper resistors, RED LED's, and 3 zip ties to fasten to your headset

$3.00 Upgrade to IR LED's

$1.00 Power Switch, or you can just take the batteries out when done, your choice.

And finally

$3.00 for assembly($0 if as a kit)

Thus bringing the average kit price to $12

Shipping is $5 anywhere in North America, and $10 Worldwide, it's auto calculated based on your Country at checkout
(Shipping isn't marked up, Canada Post tends to be pretty expensive)

Here's a couple pics of what my current setup is like, and the basic idea for what the purchased ones will be like.

So yeah, that's my offering, just hoping a couple of you guys can take the plunge and trust me enough to buy one or 2, that way I can prove my truthfulness and we'll be off :)

Feel free to PM me with any and all questions regarding this.

UPDATE
As posts lower down have said, the E-Commerce app has crashed,

I've managed to get it back for the most part, only problem is that the shipping calculator doesn't work, thus not allowing the Order to go through.
I'm going to see if I can fix it tomorrow.

It is PayPal, when you place an order it redirects you to PayPal to pay.

Hi llipunk and thanks for your initiative ! :)

I'd like to know if you have thought about providing a system to attach the clip to the headset ? That would be nice... :)

Yeah, I'm thinking about it, only problem is that headsets are all different, one thing I have come up with is a bar sticking straight up about 2-3cm behind the center LED, then a couple small rubber bands in the pack.

So yeah, in the future I most likely will, if you want, note it in the Order Notes(bottom of checkout page) and I'll give you a nice long piece of electrical tape to mount it.

Right after I posted that, I did a little brainstorm, went through the tool box, and came up with this,
Now with every order, I'll include 3 cable ties(2 for LED's third for battery pack)

It's a little crude, and sorta digs into the headset, but it works fairly well and is good till I find something else.

Triple post :(

Adding the store interface to the site killed the rest of it

I just restored it, thus killing the store.

If you guys wanna make an order, PM me with what you want, and I'll see if I can do it.

The store should be back up in the next couple days.

That's a good idea ! It would be better a removable support, but that is still a useful and pratical solution. ;)

Well if people insist, I'll go to a dollar store and get a pack of little rubber bands :/

But yeah, the current model mounting systems seem to be pretty permanent and I'm working on coming up with a removable system.

Anyone got a good suggestion, I'm open and can share a percentage of profit for every rig sold, it has to be easy to make, compact(on the inner side at least, so it doesn't interfere with user) and can be made with parts easily available to someone living in Vancouver, BC, Canada(online works, but again shipping)

If you want to go down the Cable Tie root then try these(free shipping):

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1991

also if you can sew, then you could also create a bracket from some stretchy fabric and some velcro, this would solve the problem of it being removable

Those are actually the exact ones the I have.

Dealextreme for the win.

As far as sewing, took it in 8th grade(last year), little bit of this year. Not good enough/have access to proper tools to be able to do it reliably.

Mbe you can make the brackets, and I can buy em off you?

Meh, while we're at it, how about some REALLY cheap IR LED's, courtesy of DX.

DealExtreme: $2.93 5mm IR LED Emitters (20-Pack)

$3 for 20 IR LED's :)

Works for me.

Where do you live/do you have a debit card?

Paypal lets you add a debit card to your account.
I don't have a cc either, but if you;re in North America then you;re good.

But yeah, I can do a money order, PM me with the details of what you want/need, where you live(just the country for now) and I'll send you a quote.

Yeah, you can solder the LED leads to the wires. It would be best to cover the stropped wire end with solder. I'd recommend using some solder flux (available in most electronic supplies stores) to make the task easier: dip the stripped end of a wire in the flux, heat it up, put some wire solder on it (it should easily cover the wire) and then soldering it to the LED will be just a matter of pressing the wire against the LED lead and heating it up a bit.

The negative lead of the LED is shorter. Also, the LED's rim is flat at the negative side:
