I would like to do some 2DOF on IL2-46. I have 3 point Cap.  Is it possible to use this head pointer or do I have to build one with only one LED only?

Yep... I found all you do is not use the Z coordinates or Roll.  When you run Il2 and have trackIR enabled in il2 config file it runs on startup.

Hello Domineaux

the setup model affects the MAX number of axis you can handle :

1 point setup :
up to 2DOF

3 points clip, 3 points cap, 4 points cap :
up to 6DOF


So a 3points cap can do 2DOF, no need to build another one.
