Class : Apprenti Posts : 2 Registered on : 06/12/2012 Off line	Hi, Just ordered 1/2 dozen SFH785P LEDs...I note that the diodes shown have a round lens, as opposed to the model commonly shown in the forum that has a flat head profile. http://nz.element14.com/jsp/search/productdetail.jsp?id=1212738&Ntt=sfh485p Do I need to file these flat, or is the FOV okay without taking this step. I plan to go for SERIAL BUILD 5 volt - USB powered set-up, clip made, USB adapter configured, just needing my LEDs to arrive and a 10 ohm resistor. Will either use an IR filtered removed VX1000 or a PS3 Eye (can't remove the IR filter on this), or failing that I'll steal one of the kids Wii remotes :-) Edited by kiwigeezer on 06/12/2012 at 08h59.
