Anyone knows what the focal length of the default Ps3 eye lens? I've googled it in vain. I suspect it is 8mm. Or 3.6mm?

I removed the IR filter and now it's unfocused (as expected) and I want a replacement. So if I'm changing it anyway, I'd go for a little wider lens. Any experiences?

EDIT:
Is an ordinary CCTV lens mountable on Ps3 eye?

Hello, that lens isn't worth the money for its purpose, ie tracking. Man, I got the feeling everybody knows the OEM focal dist. but me and just because it's well known, nowhere it's discussed, not even in Wikipedia!

OFF: that thread's name contains "3 DOF". Is there any setup for 3 DOF?! I want it.

And here you can calculate your focal length.

Any 3 points mount do 1,2,3,...6DOF. There's no specific setup for that. It depends on your game and your mount dimensions.
