Im using a hp webcam modified to see ir, and a 3 pt cap configuration. the issue is the camera can get upto 30fps sustained easy, but if i turn off my computer and start it up the next day, i have to drop the resolution or i get the BSOD, and slide the slider all the way to the right. and then i only get around 9 fps.

But as a temporary fix, if i uninstall the camera and reinstall the camera drivers, and try free track again, i'll get my 30 fps on 640x480 or higher again. anyone know what the deal is?

getting really old because when i uninstall the camera drivers it forces a restart so its just killing alot of time

if you're installing your webcams drivers from the support CD that came with it, try looking for newer drivers on HP's support website.

Try a lower resolution and then write protect the files to see what happens.
