Class : Apprenti Posts : 24 Registered on : 19/04/2012 Off line	Hello all, I configure 3 dot cap which is tracked by Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 wii on Windows 7. Althogh it offres 6DOF track I have some practical problems which I cannot imagine the reason. 1- the tracking is too much dynamic and out put is cumbersome. And dots are not stable. 2- Sometimes it detects additional DOT, but can't imagine where it comes from. 3- I cannot turn left-right my head as dots are getting invisible. So the results are not good as expected. Where I have gone wrong? - Does my assembly diamentions are incorrect - Curve adjesment or - Threasold value ? Any idea is really helpful..

Class : Habitué Posts : 191 Registered on : 25/06/2010 Off line	I would think you are using a narrow beam LED based on the pictures. A suggestion that will help, is to use IR LEDs like the Osram SH485P. What LEDs are you using?

Class : Apprenti Posts : 24 Registered on : 19/04/2012 Off line	I am unable to find out 'Osram SH485P LED. Hence I use typical IR leds and I asked about that in other thread. But they said it wont be a problematic. Does 4-Cap model is better than 3-Cap? And I have seen precreated caps. It looks like they havent much care about the diamentions. Do we really need presice diamention for the model ? In hand book mesurements are only available for 4-cap models. Howevr this is my hardware implementation. Either. - Does my assembly diamentions are incorrect I don't think so. But I'm not sure you're using the right model-setup. The head mount can vary from the default dimensions, but you have to set-up the real dimensions in the "Model" section. And choose the right model: First pic shows a "3-Points-Clip", second a "3-Points-Cap" setup. Your cap is 3-Points'Cap. Then measure the real dimension of the LED position on cap and set them up in the "Model-Dimensions" section. Don't forget the "Model Position": You can increase the beam angle of the LEDs by flatten them out with sandpaper like this: Edited by Steph on 08/11/2012 at 09h22.
