I did a search in the forum but didn't come up with any hits on the subject.  I also searched a lot on the internet but I'm getting the idea that my Namtai SLEH-00031 Namtai PS2 eyetoy is not compatible with my Win7 64bit OS.  I've tried a bunch of different of the namtai as well as Logitech drivers but none of them work.  Am I flogging a dead horse here or has someone gotten their namtai camera to work on their 64 bit system?

IT WORKS!!!!!!   I found this video that was just posted a few days ago on YouTube.  While I don't have my led rig hooked up yet the camera works just fine in Win7 (64bit) and FreeTrack.  Just follow the video very closely - I made a couple of mistakes the first couple of tries and was about ready to give up.

Though the previously postet youtube-link describes a procedure that has not worked for me (maybe i had missed a little something) but here is another one, that does not require manual file-modification, just a free account at Filedropper.com:

this finally worked for me with vista, after a tough bit of nerve drain.

btw. i bought the cam yesterday at my local computer store for not more than 5€!!!

i guess you cant get a new webcam cheaper in any way at all. the frame rate is pretty steady at 25, regardless of the solution. not max but really fast and smooth though.
