Class : Apprenti Posts : 2 Registered on : 02/10/2010 Off line	Hi fellas! new to the forum, i have used the good old track ir 2 a couple years ago but eventionaly it landed in a box in the addict.. however when reading that this software (freetrack) has TrackIR support (in v2.2.0.267 according to http://naturalpointofview.blogspot.com/p/trackir-cameras-with-freetrack.html ) i've made a clean install of v2.2.0.267 and before i plugged in my TIR2 installed the v1.1.0.34 and made the manual modifications according to "deBugs" guide located at http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=1310&page=2 I restart and i plug in my TIR2, it finds the device and installs the drivers with no issue, but once i open freetrack the only thing on my devicelist is my old creative webcam, wich works fine. but i really want to get this working and i cant figure out what im doing wrong i know this has been an issue before, and i know freetrack no longer supports trackir in later versions but this version should support it but still it wont find my device. Any ideas? Rock on people, great forum and AMAZING SOFTWARE!! the things you can do with a webcam.. Edited by JohnHammer on 02/10/2010 at 13h41.

Class : Habitué Posts : 191 Registered on : 25/06/2010 Off line	What is your operating system? XP or Win 7? Can you disconnect the Creative Web Cam? If so do that and see if the Optitrack device shows up in Freetrack.

Class : Apprenti Posts : 2 Registered on : 02/10/2010 Off line	im running XP and i've even tried uninstalling the webcam and then reinstalling the whole Trackir thingy, by that i mean freetrack, the optitrack drivers and then plugging in the TIR2, still no go.. this is weird!
