Hi, done a search for 'wire' and 'cable' did not find an answer to my question. I have read a lot about making the freetrack cap/headset clip and have decided to make both.
No one really goes into detail about what wire to use and this is what has lead to my question. Is there a specific cable that would be best for my circuit? I would like to make a cap with 2x 1.2-1.5v batteries and maybe a usb powered headset. I have all the components i need plus loads of good printouts from this forum, the only thing missing is the cable. Does it matter what cable i use? scavenged cat5 wires, speaker cable, what sort of diameter should i be looking for? - i'm very confused! any advice is much appreciated. Thanks! Use wire 0.15 - 0.20 mm2 (or use UTP cable / mouse cable / scart cable / telephone wire ...... )
 or christmas light , sometimes included with batteryholder (2xAA) with switch!  |
