I've seen a few comments about trouble with the vx-2000. I just picked one up, using the same logic I'm sure these buyers followed (It's between the 1000 and the 3000, so what's the problem?)
Has anyone had luck with this camera? I don't mind a bit of butchery to get at its guts for removing the IR filter, but the auto-exposure issue has me concerned.
I'll otherwise return it tomorrow and sadly pay a pile more for the next step up. It's all bloody expensive in Newfoundland.
