Last version is 2.2.0.279 dated from 11. 22. ’08.

There is some new hardware out there for example PS3 eye which is not regular PC web camera but have kicking ass performance also Windows 7 is out and need proper support for it. Definitely it is time for new version.

My question is can we expect some new version sun or is this end of story?

I want to work to fix some bug current version had witch ps3eye and latest CL-eye driver.

Anybody have sources of version 2.1.x downloaded?? Please post!!
Freetrack 2.1 work ok witch ps3eye and CL-eye driver at 320x240@125fps and 640x480@75fps.
It will by easy to fix 2.2 if we had 2.1 sources!!

OK lets organized our self to create some sort of mod team.
It will be group of people who making changes in source and new addons for FT.

This addons could be in the similar way as Linux as free source OS and to have friendlier environment ppl doing lot of plugins or addons in the future FT could do in similar way.

In mod team we should gather FT users who have knowledge to coding some fixes plug in or addons. Point of gathering mod team is to make sharing ideas and information’s among the coders. I notice on that forum that some people holding some solutions among them self and not sharing it with rest of FT community.

I’m not coder and don’t have knowledge to enter the mod team but as part of FT community I’m willing to support it with donations because such effort deserve some reward who is also motivation to keep good work in future and you all FT lover if we want to keep it alive think about it and sacrifice one Beer in your favour Pub and donate that money to keep alive your new favour toy. I think it is worth it when you compare 30$ for FT or 150$ for commercial head tracking device.

Now everything depend on us.
