Awesome site awesome idea

Cost me $6 in parts, took 1/2 hour to build, 1 or 2 to figure out the software:)

Didn't work. Stupid me had the battery connected back wards. 2 sec fix

Worked like a charm.

Ended up changing from 30 ohm to 20 ohm resistors.

Works perfectly.

Will be installing some of my games i haven't played in awhile to check them out again.

I'm so glad i found this site, keep up the great work guys.

If anyone needs any help don't hesitate feel free to ask

I also only had RadioShack for parts, so I'm kinda guessing you got the same ones I did, considering they only have 1 type of IR LED.

I started with a 1 point system and 30ohm resistor with 3.0v Batt supply if my memory serves me and WoW ! .... IL2 just took on a whole new life !!!
Even went and bought myself an X52 system to go with the freeview stuff  :p

Anyways, my point was ... don't file down the tops of those babies till you test them out.  I'm running on a COPY Wii (Shiro) Remote for a cam and I cant get the damn LED's to disappear for want of turning my head.  It MAY be different slightly for the cam operation though ,,, will be interesting to see :-)

Good Luck and welcome to hours of fun

Hey guys,

I've also built myself a rig, works perfectly so far. Only tried it out in Wings of Prey so far but it's pretty cool to be able to look around so freely :)

Will they continue to develop the software? 2008 seems a bit old by now?

By filing down the tops, i was able to get better viewing angle from my leds.

Cheers,

b0bl00i
