Your webcam is a 'night vision' camera of some sort? If I understood you correctly it has 6 IR leds on it in addition to a camera? If this is the case then yeah it should work with reflective tape.
Your camera emits IR light, which is reflected back to the camera by your reflective tape. Provided that the IR leds are strong enough and your reflective tape is reflective enough I don't see a reason for this not to work but I could be wrong...
I do remember reading somewhere that starting at IR leds isn't very good for your eyesight... so I'm not sure about the longterm health of your vision if you plan on having this webcam shine IR at you for extended periods of time. Anyone using reflective tape care to chime in on this? Anyone experiencing eyestrain?

Hi, I need help I use this method, it works great, but in night in day I have Hhghlighted all, I do not know what to do to make this work as well as in the night. I use A4tech PK-333

Hi,
i have this setup, and it works in daylight and lights on.
just remember to not make the clips to big in size, im still trying to get mine working perfectly.
it flicker a bit and i cant turn FOV all the way back, i think i have to redo the headgear with the standard size of the legs
