Class : Apprenti Posts : 15 Registered on : 12/09/2009 Off line	Hey everyone, So, this is my first attempt at creating this system. I'm having an issue getting the lights to power on and I need a little assistance. First, here is the spec sheet: Here are the parts that I used: x3 (5mm Wide-Angle Red LED: 1.7v 20mA 800mcd) http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2102849 x1 (47-Ohm Resistor) http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062313 x1 ("AA" Battery Power Supply 4AA battery power and on/off switch) http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062253&tab=summary And I cut up some PCB to mount the resistor and the LED's http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2104052 So I got everything wired up and soldered according to the "series" specifications in the diagram. I cannot see any light emitting from the diodes when I switch on. I got a very weak light in the center of one of the LED's when I direct connected the PS to it. Looking for some help. Did I miss something? Is the Amperage wrong Thanks in advance, ~S

Class : Apprenti Posts : 39 Registered on : 11/08/2008 Off line	I got a very weak light in the center of one of the LED's when I direct connected the PS to it. Are you sure that your leds are connected right (every led in same way polarized)? I suggest you check the polarization and soldered joints first... Snow
