First off let me tell you my computer specs.
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
2 gigs of single channel 600mhz
Two 9800 gtx+ sli.
When I play combat flight simulator 3 the movement is pretty smooth.
When I play regulat Flight Simulator X it's a bit laggy.
I'm not sure if it has to do with my settings.
I'm not sure if it has to do with the webcam I'm using.
I'm not sure if it has to do with the freetrack software.
I'f I could get a little feedback would be most appreciated.

I haven't used TrackIR but I have to say I am very, very impressed with my freetrack in IL-2. I only use 3 DOF at the moment but it has added so much to my experience overall. The increased situational awareness is awesome and the whole thing is just so cool in general I can't say enough about it. I probably dropped about 30 dollars between the cam and the parts and could not be happier with the results. With a Microsoft vx 1000 removing the IR filter was a snap, a piece of photo negative for the light filter and some fiddling with the setting it is perfect.

Try to lock the FPS in FSX to 30, it helps a little. But my best guess is that the tracking is not perfect, you should play a little with the settings.
It can also be related to the fact that FSX uses allot of cpu power, try to put freetrack with the highest priority in the windows task manager.
