I have my webcam coming right now and am excited to start working on this.
Wouldn't it be possible for the camera to recognize a color and track that? It seems very similar to what the IR LED's provide for the webcam to track.
I know it is said that without using IR LED's you can get background interference..but if you used a color like neon pink or bright green like a green screen I doubt the webcam will pick up anything in the background similar to it.

Hello,
you might want to check out "Catchya" - I just did, and I'm not that impressed. Actually, I *am* impressed that this works (and with plain black/white symbol to track), but I think Free Track (with LEDs) works way better.
