I think I ordered the wrong resistors.  They look a little big.
power rating 2w, resistance 18ohm, voltage rating 400v.
If that is the problem Can I pick some up at radio shack.

I'm using rechargeable batteries.

Help appreciated.

BTW, thats a 32 inch monitor at 1k by 760 resolution.
I built the stand so I could put the camera closer to my face.

p.s.s.

this thing i checked out said i needed more voltage than 2 1.2v Double A's.
Says I need at least 3 volts.  Then it tells me I only need a 10 ohm resister.
The wizard says: In solution 0:

   * each 10 ohm resistor dissipates 100 mW
   * the wizard says the color code for 10 is brown black black
   * the wizard thinks 1/4W resistors are fine for your application Help
   * together, all resistors dissipate 300 mW
   * together, the diodes dissipate 900 mW
   * total power dissipated by the array is 1200 mW
   * the array draws current of 300 mA from the source.

Also the led assembly wizard gives me no results at all.
Just goes back to original screen.

If you are using 18 ohm resistors, and you are using rechargeable batteries (2 * 1.2 V= 2.4 V) the current is 50 mA (if your led Vf = 1.5).

This should work I think, but 1/4 Watt resistors is enough. You are using 2 Watt resistors but it will work.

what IR-leds you are using?

see my post: http://forum.free-track.net/index.php?showtopic=1856
this scheme is for SFH485P - ir leds

I updated the post with the information what resistor values you need (1/4 watt / E24)

Well on the spec sheet it tells me its 3v and 100mah.
not 1.5v but 3v.   Same product number, different volts
