Hi, in new at freetrack, i have a xps m1530, im trying to use the integrated 2mp webcam, suposed to give 30fps, i haven't built the cap but i was trying with just one led and nothing happens on the axis, i just gives me the point of the led but thats all, should i buy a new webcam or im doing something wrong, thanks a lot

If you're talking about getting the axis to track using the freetrack software you won't get any tracking using a single LED.  I'm using an XPS integrated webcam and a 3 point clip with no problems.

Keep in mind you can't remove the IR filter on it (I assume) so you won't get optimal performance if there is much other light bouncing around. It should work in a dark room though. My camera works a lot better with the IR filter removed and a visible light filter (a dark piece of photographic negative film or a piece of floppy disk) on the front. I wouldn't be trying to remove an integrated cam's IR filter personally, I think its worth the $15 investment for a USB webcam.
