Ive got a lifecam vx-3000 and ive been trying to run, let alone test freetrack 2.2

im running on windows vista 64, 8 GB ram, E8500 cpu.

i can load up the program, but when i hit "start" it shows a brief second of footage from the cam and locks up the program entirely. ontop of that the image is always messed up, with the top 3/4 of the picture being normal webcam footage, and the bottom 1/4 being the freetrack testing grid.  the testing grid is also black and red, and just doesnt seem right.

not sure whats going on. do i need to put a floppy disk over the cameras lens? i didnt think i had to with the vx-3000.

i guess this is what i get for investing in hardware for free software.

that $40 could been used for trackir 4 pro...

ppjoy doesnt even work in vista 64, so even though i got freetrack to recognize and follow a single point setup i cant do anything with it because of ppjoys incompatibility.

so frustrated, spent all day trying to figure this crap out when trackir is just plug and play.
